Introduction

Viral Studios LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Vitalize mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the App. By using Vitalize, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

Our Privacy Commitment

At Vitalize, your privacy is foundational to our product — not an afterthought. We believe that your health data is among the most sensitive information you possess. We have architected our application with privacy-by-design principles to ensure your health information remains private and secure.

Apple HealthKit Data

Vitalize integrates with Apple HealthKit to read health and fitness data for the purpose of calculating your biological age and providing personalized health insights. We may request read access to the following data categories:

• Heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV)
• Resting heart rate and cardio fitness (VO2 max)
• Sleep analysis, sleep duration, and sleep stages
• Active energy burned and basal energy burned
• Workout sessions and exercise minutes
• Step count, walking distance, and mobility metrics
• Respiratory rate and blood oxygen saturation
• Body measurements (height, weight, body mass index)

On-Device Processing: All HealthKit data is read and processed locally on your device. The calculations for your biological age, health trends, and personalized recommendations are performed entirely on your iPhone. This data is never uploaded to our servers or any third-party servers.

No Health Data Transmission: We do not transmit, share, sell, or otherwise disclose your HealthKit data to any third parties, including analytics providers, advertisers, or data brokers. We do not use your health data for advertising or marketing purposes.

Revocation of Access:You may revoke Vitalize's access to HealthKit data at any time through the Apple Health app (Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > Vitalize). Upon revocation, we will no longer be able to read your health data.

Information We Collect

While your health data remains on your device, we do collect certain information to operate, improve, and support the App:

Analytics Data (Mixpanel)

We use Mixpanel, a third-party analytics service, to collect anonymous usage data that helps us understand how users interact with the App and improve the user experience. This data may include:

• App feature usage and navigation patterns
• Session duration and frequency of use
• Device type, operating system version, and app version
• Crash reports and error logs
• General geographic region (country/city level, not precise location)
• Anonymized user identifiers

Important: Mixpanel does not receive any HealthKit data, health metrics, biological age calculations, or any personally identifiable health information. Analytics data is used solely for product improvement and cannot be used to identify you personally or reconstruct your health profile.

Subscription and Payment Data (Superwall)

We use Superwall to manage our subscription paywall and user entitlements. When you subscribe to Vitalize, Superwall may process:

• Subscription status and entitlement information
• Purchase transaction identifiers (provided by Apple)
• Subscription plan type and billing period
• Trial status and conversion events

Important: All payment processing is handled directly by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card information, billing address, or Apple ID credentials. Superwall does not receive any HealthKit data or health information.

Information You Provide

If you contact us for support, we may collect your email address, name, and any information you voluntarily provide in your correspondence.

Third-Party Services

Vitalize integrates with the following third-party services:

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your data with advertising networks, data brokers, or any parties for marketing purposes.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect:

• On-Device Security: Your health data benefits from Apple's built-in security features, including device encryption, Secure Enclave protection, and biometric authentication (Face ID/Touch ID).
• Secure Transmission: Any data transmitted to third-party services (analytics, subscription management) is encrypted using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols.
• Access Controls: We limit access to personal information to employees and contractors who need it to operate, develop, or improve our services.

Data Retention

Health Data: Since HealthKit data is processed on-device and not transmitted to our servers, we do not retain any health data. When you delete the App, all locally stored health calculations and insights are permanently deleted.

Analytics Data: Anonymous analytics data may be retained by Mixpanel in accordance with their data retention policies. This data cannot be used to identify you.

Subscription Data: Subscription and entitlement records are retained as long as you maintain an active subscription and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal and accounting purposes.

Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your information:

• Access and Portability: Your health data remains on your device under your control. You can access it through the App or through Apple Health.
• Deletion: Delete the App to remove all locally stored data. No health data exists on our servers to delete.
• Revoke HealthKit Access: Revoke access at any time via Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > Vitalize.
• Opt-Out of Analytics: Contact us to request that we disable analytics collection for your installation.
• Cancel Subscription: Manage or cancel your subscription through the App Store settings.

For California residents, European Union residents, and other jurisdictions with applicable data protection laws, you may have additional rights. Please contact us to exercise these rights.

Children's Privacy

Vitalize is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately so we can delete such information.

International Data Transfers

Our third-party service providers (Mixpanel, Superwall) may process data in the United States or other countries. These providers maintain appropriate safeguards for international data transfers. Your HealthKit data, however, never leaves your device and is not subject to international transfer.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy in the App and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes your acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy.
